Rooted in Christ, Growing Together, Reaching Out
At Deeper Life, we want to be known as people who live the deeper life in Christ (Colossians 2:6-7). We follow Jesus in obedience (Mark 8:34), seek to grow in grace (2 Peter 3:18a), foster a genuine faith family (Acts 3:32), serve others with gladness (2 Psalm 100: 2), and boldly proclaim the life-changing gospel message (Ephesians 6:15) to the glory of God (2 Cor. 4:15); and the purpose of making disciples (Matthew 28:18-20).
The “deeper life” refers to a spiritual walk marked by a closer, more intimate relationship with Jesus, increased faith, holiness, and understanding of God’s word.
The critical question: What would our lives look like if we truly went all-in for Jesus, viewing our faith as more than religion but as a relationship with our creator and savior?
The Christian and Missionary Alliance (C&MA) is an evangelical denomination founded in 1887 by Albert B. Simpson, a Canadian Presbyterian minister turned independent evangelist. It’s a global family of believers—over 6 million strong—spanning 2,000+ U.S. churches (including Deeper Life Alliance Church) and 700+ international workers in 70 countries. Think of it as a movement of Jesus followers passionate about knowing Him and making Him known.
A core focus of our denomination is living out the "Fourfold Gospel" in building vibrant local churches to fulfill the Great Commission: making disciples of all nations. They plant churches, send missionaries, and serve the overlooked through practical help like relief work and community outreach, all while emphasizing a deep, personal relationship with Christ.
This idea is reflected in the symbolism behind the C&MA's logo featuring a cross (Jesus as Savior), laver (Sanctifier), pitcher (Healer), and crown (Coming King).
Inspired by Simpson’s heartbreak for the unreached, the C&MA exists to bring "all of Jesus to all the world," pushing into hard places so every person can experience His hope. It’s about transforming lives until He returns.
