Worship

At Deeper Life, we believe worship is a big deal. It's not just music but a way of life as we strive to obey, honor, and glorify God in all we do. Congregationally, music is a great way to express our love for Christ and praise him as on gathered body of believers.

Our Worship Ministry exists to edify and encourage the body of Christ (1 Cor. 12:28), with our goal to praise and worship God, not just on Sunday mornings, but with our lives so that "the words of our mouth and the meditations of our heart" are acceptable to the Lord (Ps. 19:14). Within a church gathering, our goal is to bring the congregation into the presence of God (2 Ch 7:1-2; 1 Peter 2:5) and set the stage for the preaching of the Word of God with the vision of conforming our lives to be in Christ's image (Rom 12:1-2; 2 Cor. 3:18). Music is a tool for achieving this purpose.

Our Worship Ministry consists of four teams that rotate each week of the month, playing both contemporary music and some hymns during Sunday services and on worship nights. Joining a worship team is a great way to share your gift of music, whether it be singing, playing guitar, drums, piano, or any instrument you enjoy.
